Mary Alice was such a wonderful person and a good friend for so many years. I will miss her! Acting together, rooming together, having lunch at Sardi's with my sister whenever we could get together in the last few years -- all great memories!

Our deepest sympathy to Walter, Alex, Steven, family members and to all who loved Mary-Alice.

There is little to say when there is such a deep wound but it is clear Mary-Alice led a purposeful life, she touched many people, hearts and lives. She put in a full lifetime and she now has time to rest. Crying is normal -- the tears go to heaven.

Mary Alice, my dear beloved cousin.I have wonderful memories that will be etched into my heart forever!Ocean City reunions with the Wunderle clan;the Weirs and Kattwinkels relaxing on the Atlantic shore. Many visits to her favorite city, Manhattan and seeing it in all it's glory, through M.A.s eyes. However,my fondest memories of all, consisted of sharing endless stories on the Kattwinkel couch, as if we were best gal pals, and lived right next door, rather than 3,000 miles apart. And it didn't matter that I was only 7 years older than Alex, and she was 6 years younger than my Mom. Lovely, talented and endearing woman with a heart of gold, and a laugh that made the whole room smile!

Mary-Alice ("Mrs. K") was a close family friend and neighbor who always treated me and my sister like family. I'll remember her as warm, charming, and endlessly entertaining. I always looked forward to the Kattwinkels' visits to our house -- we could never anticipate when Mrs. K would break into song or surprise us with a funny story about her theater antics. We will sorely miss her. Much love from all of our family -- Lisa, Jan, Ellen and Nina, and the Del Papas.

Going back about 50 yrs.I rmember when Walter'smother calld my parents and invited us to dinner on a Sun. afternoon to meet the girl Walter was bringing home. When they walked in both had starry eyes for each other. You knew love was in the air & it stayed there for 50 years.
